Metal, Wood, or Plastic platens
or slats are driven on heavy-duty roller chain to provide a
"moving work bench" assembly line. This provides a
steady surface for hammering, drilling and heavy assembly work.
Fixtures can be attached to the platen to hold the product firmly
in place through the assembly process. The picture shown is
a drive and tail section with some platens removed. Using heavy-duty
roller chain allows for very long assembly lines and for heavy
products to be conveyed. |
